daffodillady, I can give you #1, but 2 & 3 were asked for via email (she had trouble trying to post). If you want it, it's yours! That will close this offer. Thanks everyone, I'll be sending an email. Karen/kalena67

oh well, if we are going with the boasty bud thing, Moonlight also has buds and flowers - although not much else has apart from (oddly) the osteospermums and salvias which have somehow failed to realise we are definately beyond autumn and setting into winter. They are lolling over my (small) box topiary balls and need trimming but, well, ya know - flowers! Otoh, I love this time of year when little plantings become visible once more (hey, I knew there was a geum in there) and all things seem possible for next year.

Shasta is it a spooned osteospermum. squirl girl here is pics of the stock. as for the crack soil I just got lucky and we amended the soil the correct way right off the bat. We just added some manure (bagged from the store) and some more garden soil and tilled it in. The plants love it. Along with the pansey's there is volunteer zinnia so I am guessing that the zinnias REALLY love this soil. In the planter and a few left over in a jug Paula

Thanks Iris gal, I will. Floweryearth, Not sure on Brugs for you but even here they die back in frost and I think I even lost my very large pink brugmansia this year. Carol, you're funny. I laughed out loud when I read your post and my husband said "What?" So I explained to him what you said your husband does for you and then he even laughed. I couldn't even begin to imagine what he would come up with. The funeral plots is good too. I think we all have a situation to look back on like that...what was I thinking? I'll keep plugging along. Actually alot of inspiration has come from the Roses forum. Plus, we spent 5 of my pre-teen years in Germany and I love castle gardens and the stone work. Even the cemetary where my grandmother is buried in Frankfurt is beautiful with the stone work and roses. So after looking through this site last year, I started my rose garden. Next up is a path from our front porch to the arbor. Tina
