I have provided a link to the AHS page showing daylily gardens. The July time frame will probably make it a little tough for GA gardens. The Joiners are located in Savannah, but their garden is closed in July. I have never visited it, but have read that Tim Bell has one of the most beautiful gardens in daylilydom. He is in South GA. It would probably still be a nice garden to visit, since he appears to have many plants other than daylilies in the garden. I visited Alcovy Daylily Farm, about 50 miles east of Atlanta, about 15 years ago. Bought my very first daylily there. I think I spent about $15 and they were as gracious as if I had spent $1,500. Even served me some homemade Banana Nut Bread. At the time I visited, it was mostly a daylily garden, so don't know what it would be like in July. If interested, you could call them, as they are very nice. Wish they were closer. Gregg Connell (Favorite Things Daylily Garden) is located in North GA (Calhoun). I have never visited, but have bought from Gregg, on the Auction and he was a pleasure to deal with. Don't know anything about his garden. Someone from Ft. Payne, that used to post here, has visited Gregg, I think. She probably also has an outstanding garden, especially now, since she just returned from a raid to Arkansas. If you have an interest in Native Plants, the GA Perimeter College/Decatur Campus has a Native Plant Botanical Garden that is open to the public. Don't know if they have a guide available during weekends, but every plant is labeled, so a self directed tour is possible. The garden is accessible from the Panthersville Rd parking area, just beyond the Campus buildings. On the website below, click on Directions for map and driving directios from I-285. Enjoy your trip! I sure hope they did, although the Botanic Gardens aren't close to downtown. Millennium Park has some very nice plantings too. Boy these boards are slow lately!

Wow that's a tough choice haha. All of these nurseries (Annies included) are within a short driving distance. Annie's to Ace would take no more than 30 minutes on a day and time with no traffic congestion. Berkeley Horticultural and East Bay Nursery carry a similar selection of plants. Berkeley Horticultural is bigger though and also carries a wide selection of fruit trees, and a wider selection of natives and roses than East Bay. East Bay Nursery has a larger succulent section. Dry Gardens is small but has an amazing collection of truly unique succulents. They also carry really cool plants that are drought tolerant, as well as restios and bamboos. Ace Garden Center has a more "typical" selection of plants for California, but they do carry really cool plants that may be hard to find from time to time (Parajubaea cocoides, Doryanthes palmeri...) They do stock a lot of Annie's plants as well, so if you're going to Annie's, maybe this is one you can skip. I would make a stop at Dry Gardens because it specializes in succulents, and at Berkeley Horticultural because you will have gotten your succulent fix at Dry Gardens anyway (instead of at East Bay Nursery).
