Her Majesty the Queen has a new website

For all the Anglophiles out there, there was an announcement today about the new website for the Queen of England. It has all been updated and even has applications for job positions in the Palace including a trainee butler and a housekeeping apprentice.....

Since I still can't figure out how to the darned link, it's in the message below.

Those look great! I'm jealous that you're a full month away from demo and you already have light fixtures picked. I'm almost nine months since completion (except for BS) and still no light fixtures up in the kitchen, DR, entry, MBR, DS's room, or DD's room. Good on ya!

SQ Website says 440G not 400G, up almost 50% from old 300G. Also, other cycles for bulky and favorite shown on electronic model. Take a look at the control detail, quite a bit of flexibility. Also, default normal wash is 45 min (it's lit up in the picture that way); 52 min with 3rd (extra) rinse (that's about what it adds on my SQ FLW when I select extra rinse). Cycle time inside of a drying cycle, not a bad idea if you have a lot of laundry to plow through. Hvtech, I can see your point if laundry room is a long way from water heater, mine is 10 feet, so not an issue for me. In regards to dynamic water bath temp control, it is an important option in heavy duty commercial machines with a thermistor in the tub, regulating to about +\-5 degree. I suppose the right US home consumer could find utility in this, but the DOE has extensive data that shows Warm wash dominates for most home consumer washes. I have never run a cold wash, I suppose because our water can be crazy cold in the winter drawing from a frozen lake at times. In my house, it's 95% warm, but I don't have a job, or a spouse in a job, that gets very dirty. Only the nastiest work out clothes, socks, and stinky tennis shoes get the hot wash. Should be in stores soon if on the SQ website. April date probably a general availability so people don't complain if their dealer does not have stock, and as you can imagine, they need to restock every retailer of their equipment. Some retailers will likely have some sooner IMHO. Call your local dealer, he may have an order in already and would have a firmer delivery date. There should be some actual owner reviews soon.

Well... I wouldn't exactly say I've tried for blooms. It's one that is grow-worthy without blooms, so I don't really care that much about flowers. For me, there are species that have such beautiful foliage that flowers are just a bonus. And then I have others that I keep just for the flowers as the foliage is a bit ho-hum. I've always had a little trouble with the variegated carnosas. And by trouble I mean they tend to dehydrate easier than the standard carnosa. And once they do, they're hard to bring back. I've got a 'KP' growing in with a pubicalyx right now and it's doing very well for me. By themselves, I tend to underwater them. Don't ask me why it's doing well for me with another Hoya, as I don't water pubicalyx any more than I would if it was just 'KP' by itself - I'm just glad it is doing well!! Maybe it'll actually bloom grown this way! I'm thinking the next time I get 'KQ', I will grow it in hydroton - I think it might be the perfect candidate to grow that way! Denise in Omaha

Annie1992 — i’m with you on that grade B real maple syrup! That’s the only thing we use when we want maple syrup. That corn syrup stuff has a mouth feel that is like cardboard gelatin. I rarely buy or use Cool Whip, but one of my in-laws used to make this particular dessert with Cool Whip and strawberries because her children liked it. She use frozen strawberries but with a lot of fresh strawberries on top. I do remember the polysorbate 60 from reading the list of ingredients decades ago. It really is gooood. Probably a recipe from one of those “Women’s Magazines” decades ago. I made this for a party, and to keep in the fast ingredients spirit, use canned whipped cream (one can discern).

Liz, after you type out your initial posting, hit the Preview Message button. The preview will pop up, but you will need to scroll down to "You may use this form to make corrections." Right below the big rectangle, there will the boxes labeled Optional Link URL and Name of the Link. Copy and paste or type what you want in those. Then hit the Preview Message button again to see if your links have taken. Then hit the Submit button. Voila!

Wood - I was thinking about applying for the trainee butler, but since I am a mess at home, I would probably wouldn't be the best person for it. Split tea, anyone? :-)

Wood - it sounds rather like that image of Moses parting the Red Sea except as I pour the tea from the tea pot, it goes into two tea cups....

I see the optional link add-on box right away-right as I am typing for the first time. Before I hit "preview." Doesn't everybody?
I go to a website that is the modern equivalent of a newsclipping service-I'll attach the link-you can read everything from the Times to the Sun. And not just the British Royals-all over the world. Great fun. Easy way to waste an hour you should be using to scrub a bathroom or something. Updated almost everyday-it is the next tab over after RP on my browser!

Cece, for some reason when starting a new thread the optional link feature doesn't show up below the message box of the initial post. It only shows up on the preview message page. All subsequent posts it shows up automatically. It took me a while to figure out this inconsistency.
