Rosehips/seeds

Hello to all. Does anybody have any roseseeds or collected rosehips to share? After succesfull cuttings I would now like to try stratification of roseseeds and sowing them.

I created a rosegrowing space and therefor would like to sow different roses at the same time. I can cover postage or offer to send a babyrose,...but that will probably take two years. I hope there are some people that collected their rosehips or might have roses with hips on them still around!

je suis Ã lyon et j ai acces Ã des centaines de types de roses dans plusieurs jardins(et donc Ã leurs fruits quand ils en font). je m intÃ©resse en particulier aux roses "anciennes"
je seme moi meme depuis quelque temps (2 ans) mais je n ai pas encore eu de fleurs
je suis tout Ã fait disposÃ© Ã vous envoyer des graines de rosiers si cela vous intÃ©resse.
en ce qui me concerne je ne m'astreint pas Ã la prÃ©paration des semences. je seme en godet au moment ou le fruit est mur et je laisse en pÃ©piniere jusqu'a ce que cela germe...et quand ca ne germe pas je balance...mais ca germe super bien.

Si tu fesais une stratification tu aurais un trÃ¨s bon taux de germination..J'en ai sous fluorescent qui vont fleurir trÃ¨s bientot..Mes rosiers ont Ã peine 5-6 cm de haut avec un petite bourgeon fleural..

Many, if not most, rose seeds need stratification, that is, subjugation to cold for a period of time, usually at least a month or so before they will sprout. The article should help. Steve. Here is a link that might be useful: Growing Roses from Seeds

I use it once every week or two, but you're right that there are a lot of varying opinions. Like everything else, all things in moderation. I'm not aggressive with it so have never been concerned with damaging my skin. I've wanted to call our local medspas which use the treatment to ask how they schedule their appointments but because it would be disingenuous I haven't. DD does some work for one, maybe I'll have her ask the physician. I use the derma roller on my chest and it completely cleared up some blemishes (for lack of a better word; it wasn't acne) that I had in one area. Edited to add that everyone's skin is different and will tolerate skin care regimens/ treatments differently. I am getting close to 50 and the biggest change I've noticed is my feet. I keep them well moisturized and do my nails same as always, but the foot itself looks bonier and thinner-skinned and just old. My toes even look longer. I wear sandals 9 months a year so this is hitting me where it hurts. I have had good luck with my skin, which I attribute to wearing SPF 15 every day since age 24 and not smoking. I just started to get a line between my eyebrows this year, even though I am a big scowl-er due and squint-er due to poor vision. I do wish I paid more attention to my manicure, but I don't. I buff smooth every Sunday night and leave it at that unless I am going to a special event. I think updating eyeglasses and shoes is important for me to feel my best. I am hunting for new frames now and always on the lookout for comfy shoes that don't read "old". Some funky/casual styles that gals with smaller feet can get away with look like orthopedic shoes on my size 10s. Others' responses remind me that I need to drink more water and sweat sometimes. My DDs are makeup hobbyists and they really like TooFaced, but it hadn't occurred to me to try it. Hearing that the lipstick lasts may send me rummaging through their stashes--pale lips are my genetics and I hate them!

Je peux faire venir un env. timbree ou des graines de vivaces en echange...
