Mark, The question of what makes a "good" houseplant is an interesting question, am curious to see peoples' responses. Maybe is we give folks a little time, at least a day or two, they'll start weighing in w/ some considered responses. [don't be surprised if someone first suggests we might have to define the term "good" for this question]. I believe we'll have to disagree completely about Exchange restrictions. I know what I read & just to be sure, I went back & read it again. I did a few dozen cuttings a couple of weeks ago (a couple of weeks early) and so far they are mostly doing well. I used a mixture of peat and perlite. I placed the small pots in a large open-top plastic container and covered them with a plastic covered frame. I did a lot of cuttings last year with low sucess rate but the ones that survived are ready to plant now but I'll wait till the weather gets cooler. Thanks for the tips everyone. Marshall

go to the AQIS site and check what they say, i have heard SA has some stringent rules on bringing in plant material from anywhere. if nothing else you will be fore warned and fore armed, and can calculate the risk factor of you being caught, but there is always a bit of ned kelly in all of us so the best protection they can mount can always be circumvented hey chuckle? len Here is a link that might be useful: len's garden page

I'm adding Phebalium's to the above list as some never changed to Leionema. I can swap any cuttings of above for Correa cuttings, or any struck plants of above for struck Correa plants.
