Aphids in a greenhouse

mfwoodbridge

Hi all,

Any tried and tested methods to deter aphids in greenhouse solanaceae crops? My eggplants especially, but to a lesser extent my capsicums, chillies and tomatoes are getting caned already. I find I have to spray white oil or pyrethrum every fortnight to stay on top of them.

How effective are some of the biocontrol methods available? I would rather put out lacewing eggs and/or ladybirds than spray.

Cheers,

Manuel.
