Maybe no to a shelf.......and use both walls I would first find an alternate place for the hats, and the jackets.: ) I'd not use the space above anyone's heads for multiples on a shelf, they will appear as clutter......and most or many will be too small to be remotely meaningful at a glance. The tongue and groove would set off pictures better painted trim WHITE as in the adjacent area and also ENHANCE the wood table. It seems too yellow toned against the table wood. Yes — you can have both a breakfast table and a more formal dining table in the same large room, but it takes clever planning so the space doesn’t feel cluttered or awkward. First, you’ll want to define zones: put the breakfast table closer to the kitchen or a window, maybe on a lightweight rug, so it feels casual and used frequently. Then locate the dining table in a more central or formal position (or further from heavy foot‑traffic), with a statement lighting fixture above it to give it its own identity. Make sure you leave good clearance around both tables — ideally about 90 cm or more so chairs can pull out and walkways stay unobstructed. Matching finishes or materials (wood tones, chair styles, etc.) will help the two pieces feel coordinated rather than competing. If needed, use visual dividers (like a low shelf, a console, or even area rugs) to help separate them without walls.

Remember, it's just a search engine and has no discernment, so the most commonly posted definition is going to get all the weight. My interpretation is the chatbot has decided that the casserole usage of the word is dominant to the exclusion of others in that first bit, which makes sense given the prevalence of "lasagna" referring to the completed dish in any form along with the use as the name of the casserole. I wouldn't be surprised if it also has an American bias, but I don't know if that's true. The more refined and international notion that lasagna refers the pasta has been shouted down.
