You are correct that you need to shop for the Serena series of Angelonia, but you may have a hard time finding it at this time of year. If you type in 'Angelonia seeds' into google, you'll come up with numerous options, with a wide range of prices. Be sure to buy pelleted seed, as they are quite small and would be difficult to handle. I have not grown these myself. But I wouldn't expect them to be difficult, but they take a long time (from my reading) to bloom from seed. Since they can't be sown or planted outside until all fear of frost is past, that makes it a bit difficult. Unless you have a sunny greenhouse. Does anyone have any hands-on experience to share?

tuxedo -- Lemon thyme is one of those herbs that doesn't always produce true from seed -- ie, it's possible to grow lemon thyme from seed, but its not at all uncommon for the seedlings to show a great deal of variation from the original plant. Most lemon thyme is propagated vegetatively -- usually by root division.

I alwys have an abundance of seeds. Once the first lot of flowers bloom, I'm out there every morning deciding what is out there and what would be good to cross. I can keep you some from the upcoming season, give you both parents names with pics etc. I have roughly 20 plants ready to flower that are my own crosses from a couple or years ago. 1) The best source you'll get for quality seeds for your area is a local vegetable gardener who grows out and saves seeds from year to year. You can be confident these seeds have acclimated to your climate and that they'll be hardy. Ask your friends, neighbors, family, colleagues, etc if they know of any gardeners in the area. If you have perennials that need dividing, offer to trade for some seeds. 2) You can also use the GardenWeb Seed Exchange to find local seeds by posting a request. You can also Search Members Exchange Lists. 3) You can go to The Garden Watchdog and search garden companies by state and/or by what they sell via the drop down menu, such as "Seeds:Vegetables". They are rated by customers. 4) Many forums such as this Vegetable Forum have an area for "Exchanges". You may make requests there as well as at the Seed Exchange Forum mentioned above.
