What you can do is find evidence to support the claim, it can be solid evidence like a clinical trial, or it can be somewhat softer evidence like an explanation of the biological plausibility. I have this plant to and think it's one of the better ones out there. I have two one on the south side of the house and one in a bed on the north side. They both went through a very cold winter here in north Louisiana with no cold damage. But I did damage mine with over fertilizing. The hose end type is what I was using. I believe it was miracle grow. When I use it in the future I will wash the fertilizer out of the center. I don't believe your winter is anything near what I have here. Bob

I have one that's been doing great for me, I've planted it on a bit of a mound. It used to be planted closer to the street and when I moved the main plant I guess I lef some root behind and that piece is now growing into a decent plant.
