Hello, we recently started our first vege garden abd now have 2 plants growing that I'm unsure of. I planted some seeds that i thought failed but i wonder if they have now sprouted. If anyone can tell me what these are I would appreciate it. Craig

Looks very much like 'Wandering Jew' (Tradescantia albiflora, now referred to as 'Wandering Dew') to me; and that plant below it looks like the common 'portulaca' weed. I'd say your seeds failed and the weeds are taking over. What actually were the vegie seeds you planted?

They appear to be different varieties to me. All are succulents however. If you search under succulents you may be able to find similar images, but they are all so similar it may be hard to tell the varieties exactly. Here is a link that might be useful: Succulents

Oh, I don't know that gadget. You might have an easier time emailing the pics to your PC, if that's an option for you. You've done it though. GW upload facility can do 1 pic per post, so if you have more than one, it's not your fault or your gadget that you couldn't get 2 at the same time. When I need to put 2 pics, I just post twice. If you get in the habit of putting multiple pics in posts, you can use a 3rd party photo-hosting site to do that.

its fall ... the leaves will fall off.. along with whatever is attacking the leaves... nothing to do there ... but clean them up afterwards ... EVERYTHING looks like this in fall ... these would be great plants for you to learn about pruning ... there is some historically bad pruning ... maybe for the fence install ... the further one.. you could probably cut to about 3 inches.. and with no insult to the root mass it will be 4 feet tall again by next summer ... and then in the next few years ... having either succeeded or failed.. then you can get rid of them ... or not ... they are what we call.. a short lived tree ... in tree years.. that mean about 20 years max.. if you are lucky.. and the garden gods favor it ... getting rid of it.. is not that big a deal ... see you in the shrub or tree forum.. if you are interested in gardening.. and learning to prune... ken ps: the link shows.. what well pruned specimens should look like ... in a variety of forms .... Not a milkweed. It appears to be something along the lines of solomons seal, maianthemum, uvularia or similar monocot plant. The pictures aren't really good enough to id it by. When it flowers it will be easier as there are several plants with similar stems and foliage. And I agree with Ken to try the Name That Plant Forum.
