Somewhere I have pictures of one that is turquoise and brown. I'll look for them and scan them. I have wondered if it has to do with the water or minerals in the water. The turquoise frog was in a pond that was in a natural cavity in some rocks, so the water might have been heavily laden with some kind of mineral. However, not all the frogs had the turquoise. The rest were brown/green. Anne

I am fairly full up at home without TURNING THE SOD ! I brought home two Liberty and a Orange Marmalade ...was tempted very many times for more... A friend and his wife were also there.. he REALLY was in trouble, he had about five definites after walking by about 6 plants :) His problem is he has a lot of room and no shade. he has been working on it with some trees, and I am trying to convince him to try some of that shade parasols I have seen on here.. he has a high fence and he could suspend some covers in the corners...

Nice setup. 1. Do you keep them inside the full season ? 2. What part of the country are you in ? 3. What is your approx. time to harvest from seed ? (Mine have been 150 days - this year I started seeds on New Years Eve and picked my first 9 Auroras last week - my garden is on www.tomtomato.com) 4. Have you started your harvest and how long can you extend the season ? Here is a link that might be useful: My Site:

It looked like a bullfrog, yes, but the two things that made me think that it wasn't a bullfrog was the fact that it's only may; I didn't think they bred this early in this area (plus I haven't heard their mating calls). The other reason is the little cat-like squeek it made. I didn't know bullfrogs did that. But what do I know? It was cute, that's for sure.
