I have a problem with my liftmaster 1/2 hp. My house was built in 2005 but im not sure what year the opener is, but my remotes do not work and my hard wire button doesnt work but is blinking. My sensors that detect objects in the way still blinks if i put my leg or something in the way but light bulb on the lifter itself doesnt work and it is a good bulb. and i plugged other objects like a fan or charger or something in that outlet on the ceiling that the lifter is plugged in at and it works. when i unplug the lifter the hard wire button light goes out and when i plug it back up it continues to blink still. What do i need to do?

You can replace the logic board, if that's the problem, or work around the whole thing. (And get your $$ back [return] the new useless remote) Google: Skylink GBRM You can get one from Amazon, or closer to home, radio shack may still carry these, sometimes with an outside keypad remote as well. Lots cheaper than a logic board, remote is probably smaller too. What it does is go in parallel with (or replaces) your current wall button, and sends the opener the right signal to open/close down the original copper wires. --No ladders, No taking apart opener, only mickey-mouse work with screwdriver at original inside control button. Hi Everyone, I have an old (10/95) craftsman opener that works fine #139.663956 / S.N. 4935A00718 In the past year I have bought 3-4 remotes that I was told would work. But did not ,and since my unit does NOT have a learn button,I am lost as to what to do. The #'s on my remote are in places worn out so I can not see all the model #'s. My wall switch (power) is model 139.53755 . Can anyone offer suggestions? I am disabled and may need someone to help me so if I can explain to them what to do,I may be able to get this new remote programed or find a suitable replacement. I recently purchased a craftsman #139.53778, but with out the learn feature on my unit and not knowing what 9 # code to use ,it to is of no help to me. Any ideas?? Thank you .

A first time Google search took me to a Comcast webpage that explains how to change settings (different for each brand of TV) to have your Comcast controller (among the several they offer) control a TV. "User manuals" aren't as common as they used to be. Detailed use instructions tend to be easily found online. But your question is a Comcast question, not a TV question, unless I'm misunderstanding what you're trying to do.
