Is there an effective solution to mealybugs - preferably not too toxic, but any advice would be valued. I have a Lavandula Dentata (French Lavender) hedge. Most of it stays healthy but some plants always go yellowish because of a Mealybug infestation. To date I handle the problem by squashing the little buggers on a daily basis but this is a tedious process. They are now infecting my French Tarragon. Are there any solutions.
mostly they are there because the ants bought them in so if you control the ants then you have some control over the mealy bug, and treat any m/b infestation as soon as you see it there is a homemade white oil recipe on our site.
Many thanks Len - enjoyed visiting your site - I printed out your remedies page to soak up when I have a quiet moment. I think I shall be returning regularly.
