Hi. I live in California and would like to know if some one knows where I can get Port Jackson Fig seeds. I found some online offers, but they are from outside USA and if I am not wrong, if I buy those seeds I have to Import them. As long as your greenhouse is not sealed air tight you should not have a problem with kerosene. I buy soil at Lowes, HD, Wal-mart and local nursery. What ever I can find at the best price. I also mix my own. You can ask around at the stores for leftover pots. I ordered some form Igcusa.com last month. Find some place close to you so shipping will not be too high. I noticed you are in zone 3. Do you intend to use the greenhose all winter or just as a season extender. In the winter you would need to add a second layer of poly or bubble wrap. Heating would be very expensive.

I called my friend who had it a year ago before me. Turns out the ethernet jack isn't functional ( I didn't realize this since I've only used it via wireless. Anyhow, this week it became a nice doorstop/paperweight for three reasons: 1) ethernet jack broken, as mentioned, so no internet there 2) I dropped it two days ago, which was a direct side hit on the PCI adaptor, which somehow broke the power connection to the PCI slots - so no power there, and 3) I tried to install a USB adaptor tonight, but can't open it's config utility, which was why I was trying to use the ethernet for internet to solve - nothing else works. Anyhow, thanks for the feedback.

How far from the beach and salt spray? This can be a debilitating factor. Is he up on the bluff or out the back? He can expect blackspot if growing modern roses, and should spray to keep it under control.
