Hi M, I'd be interested in a cutting of H. serpens, unrooted would be fine, I could send you a unrooted cutting of E. 'Cleo' or something else in exchange. You don't have an email contact on your members page but I have one on mine, hoping to hear from you. Annette

Hi, I have lacunosa and lacunosa x obscura plants. they are both smaller. Lacunosa is very small. I think I may have curtsii, but I have to check. I have pics of my two plants at my website www.reneesgreenhouse.com (click on "enter the greenhouse" link on left) I have other hoya, but I just started making the website so not everything is there. I can offer cuttings of the two hoyas for other hoya cuttings or even AV leaves. send me an email if you are interested. -renee

geosdee, I'm in the FL panhandle also. pug - no problem. Yes I repotted it once since I received it, it was at least 2 years ago. At the time I put it in a 4 inch net pot with orchid seedling bark mix. Honestly I can't tell what the roots look like in there, the top is overgrown and I can't see down into it at all. As to why it gets watered everyday, well it's because the bench it sits on, the other plants on it need watered everyday. Also this is every sunny day in summer. In winter, when it's cooler, they get watered either by rain or me about 3 times a week on average. Sometimes more if we get a lot of rain. It all started this way the winter before last, I looked up it's habitat and saw that it grows in similar conditions as some of my Coelogynes, so I set it on their bench, and it has received the same culture as them since then. Then last spring it bloomed for the first time, so I left it with the Coelogynes all last year, and now this year it is blooming better, so I will definitely leave it with the Coels. It is probably receiving signifcantly more light than most people would give it, and as it's in a net pot, with a good breeze going outside all the time, I would suspect that it dries out almost every sunny day. Hope this helps. Renee

I would just wait until it is in need of watering, and then spray lightly with the spray of water. If that doesn't do it, and it still bothers you, you could just take a Q-Tip and rub them lightly. Marcy
