Hi Elaine, I'd love to have a Clerodendrum trichotomum Harlequin Glorybower. I have a clump of small alliums...about 18" stems and tear-drop shaped cluster of lavender blooms. Reminds me of drum sticks. I'll see if I might have a photo if you're interested. I also have persicaria 'Red Dragon' and should be receiving seed for Knautia Macedonia (but in a deep raspberry color, not pastel)...will soon list seeds I have available and should have seedlings by Trade Day! Wow, that's a lot of plants! I don't have a list of what I'm growing in my little gardens -- sometimes it takes me a couple of weeks in the spring to realize that that weird looking weed in the corner is something I've had for years. I just assume that more plants than not will grow in this area! One of the more unusual plants I grow is agapanthus. Not a particularly hardy variety, this was simply a florists' plant my mother gave me four years ago. But it's come up reliably every year for the past three seasons in Central Ohio. It's planted against a south-facing brick wall with excellent drainage, and apparently doesn't realize it's not in zone 8+ anymore! One of my mother's more spectacular plants is a 15 year old calamondin orange that arrived as a little "get-well" houseplant. It spends the winter on the unheated glassed in back porch in Cincinnati, and now stands over 6' tall in the pot, and is nearly 4' around. It always has flowers and fruit on it, and we've picked 200 ripe fruits at one time.

Named ones= Begonia " Richardsiana" B." Snow Capped " B. "Tea Rose" B. "Hot Tamale" B. "Good and Plenty " B, "Tiny Gem " B. " Silver Queen " The Richardsiana has in pass week took a big flop , and so not sure whats up with it , taken it back into house , hope it was just heat stroking from 100 + daze we have been in for pass couple of weeks here in nastyville , so not sure about it. Two other's unknown named ones but pretty just the same and last one I think mite be B. " Sophia Cecile " not sure. I see you have " My Special Angel " have been looking at it in the catalogs . sorry I'm so long winded.... but sure there must be something in your long list that we can work with . P.s. I wont make it to any plant swap so..... not sure how we would do this if we've a mind to ???? But thanks for your time and effort if thats the only way .

Ooo..russian sage! I would love some of that! I just posted in the invites thread, then noticed that little "echanges" link. Oops. I am looking for Rosa Rugosa. Not too fussy about color (red, pink, white, whatever) but prefer a repeat bloomer. Otherwise, anything with "lake" or other nautical words in the name-I am starting a theme garden (see thread linked below for list of plants I've come up with to look for so far). anything cottage garden-y or from my list on my theme garden thread I have (nothing exotic, I'm really just starting a garden back up where one was MANY years ago-we just bought the house this past fall): Japanese Quince-red (I know everyone here probably knows this but-its has thorns and spreads via root sucker, so plant with that in mind) glad bulbs I didn't get planted white wild violet rose of sharon seedlings (color unknown, these are volunteers from some very old parent plants on our property) deep purple spiderwort small green hosta with red in the stems (name unknown) possibly some large green hosta if I can split them in time day lily (colors unknown) poppy seed heads lily of the valley Here is a link that might be useful: theme garden plant list thread
