Drooping Syzygium Aussie Southern

I have several Syzygium ÂAussie SouthernÂs that I just planted on Boxing Day. A few of them- well, their leaders, have started to droop. The rest of the plant looks fine though. Any diagnoses? Could they have been overwatered due to the deluges we've been blessed with recently in Brisbane?
Also, any advice on when I should start to tip prune new lilly pillys? I'm a novice grower.
Thanks!
