SC, thanks for the article on Cycs. Kerplunk is a riot. One time, when DH had the 6 critter bowls lined up on the counter, getting their meals ready, Kerplunk decided he'd jump up for an appetizer. The other 2 cats - gray & black striped - can land in 2" sq. of counter space and never touch a thing. Well, Kerplunk tried to leap to the counter. Only his front paws made it. Each landed in one of the food bowls. He kerplunked back down to the floor, bringing the bowls - and watery contents - with him. Wish I'd been there. Carolyn, thanks for the opinion and the congratulations. You can ignore my private e-mail. The Cycs and Ctsm got no water during the winter - none of the pbs shriveled. Gaston, thanks. Is your weather too warm for a cooler winter rest for Cycs and Ctsm? They've been easy for me, but the cooler living room gets down to 57 at night during the winter. Hi Mitsukiwi, I would say that you have Rosado. That is one I don't have yet but if you look it up I think you will find pictures that match yours. At least you got something sweet and pretty and at least it is still a cybister! Some of my nicest bulbs came to me through mislabels so you can't loose them all! This is just a terrible year for mislabeled bulbs and it doesn't seem to matter where they come from! All the different growers from all over the world are sending out mislabeled bulbs!! mnwgal, thanks for your ideas. All of the plants were starting to bud. I went to Menards and got a dozen 12-inch plastic pots that were on sale. Have blueberry, raspberry, and roses potted up and at every window. It is so gloomy in Duluth in the spring, I hope they get enough sun light. The weather is going to be in the teens at night for who knows how long, and so outside does not seem to be an option. I hope they make it. I can always use more berries and roses.

I still wouldn't have said anything about it, because as I said before, my dad would have killed him. There is not a single doubt in my mind about that. He could be very irrational and I had seen him in action before. If the doctor hadn't ended up dead, at the very least, my dad would have been in jail. The person I was as an 18 yr old, small town girl, is very different from the person I am now. I have been hit on by men for most of my life....I could handle it and did. No big deal. I didn't have to make a big deal out of it to put them in their place. I remember one guy coming by my barn and asking about buying a pony I had. Not for sale. Then he noticed my ponds and asked about them. Thinking I had someone who really was interested in fish and waterlilies (ha!) I got some fish food and we walked out to the ponds, and I extoled the virtues of the various types of waterlilies and koi. Then he said, "I would like to make love to you." (Hey, what? I thought we were talking about waterlilies.) I said "I'm not interested." He said "I would like to make love to you, not f*** you." I said again, "I am not interested." He said, "Oh well, some people like green beans and some people like carrots." I said, "I like green beans, but I have green beans at home." End of conversation.....and end of pond tour.
