Yes, it was easy. I only bought 2 or 3 corms from the market, planted them in a pot and put it inside my fish pond. No need to water nor fertilize. The harvest was disappointing. I got about 8 to 10 corme. But, they're small - about 1/4 of the size of the original corms. Could be because they were in a small pot. It was a fun experiment. One study used sand instead of soil and got good results. If you grow them in a fish pond, there is no need to fertilizer. Be sure to give them space to grow if you want to have good harvest.

Great. I'll run down to the Asian grocery in the next couple of weeks. I think I'll start a little water garden with chestnuts and a few lilies. Add a couple of guppies or baby koi for squito control. I used to have a huge koi pond and really miss my water. I can't start a big water garden until I move next year but I could easily do a small, moveable one.
