Thank you. I left mine out last winter in a pot. They died down and came back, much to my surprise. honestly I kinda forgot/didn’t make time because I had a baby on thanksgiving. I wouldn’t recommen leaving them out though. Either dig up bulbs or bring your pot to a warmer location.

Definitely not my field of expertise, but I picked this nice simple summary up online -- did you they by any chance suffer from a bit of drought at the crucial period? "Place the rhizomes 2 to 4 inches deep and 6 to 8 inches apart, in well-draining soil in a sunny spot. Note: Polyanthus lily likes hot afternoon sun. Keep the soil consistently moist before and during the period of bloom that occurs in late summer."

I don't really get what is the trigger to get them to bloom. I suspect they don't like being crowded, but don't mind a smallish container either if that makes sense? I had two large pots with 3 mature clumps in each pot (these were purchased as premium sized bulbs or mother clumps). The most I would get is 2 or 3 inflorescences per year. Earlier this year, I removed a small clump and repotted it into a 1 gallon container and it's throwing up an inflorescence this month. Go figure?

Hi I have a huge Rose apple tree (syzygium Jambos) loaded with flowers and I would like to graft it with wax Jambu varieties (ie black pearl, Black diamond, any red). Does anyone have cuttings they can provide? I can exchange for a Tuberose bulb (mother with pups attached, huge 4 inch bulb) or for rose apple cuttings from my tree. I also have dragon fruit cuttings (White flesh, not suer but could be Vietnamese giant variety) Reply here on houzz if you're interested.
