About me: I am a garden fanatic who is establishing new gardens around a new house. I have analysis paralysis as this is my first/last new house with completely new gardens AND THERE IS SO MUCH THAT I LIKE!!! Choice dilemma! The only lawn is at my bowls club... my other passion! Ground covers are the thing, around plants that smell good, look good or taste good. Everything has to earn its keep.

Commented: Strawberry plants dying If the water is doing that to your strawberries, what is it doing to you? Sounds like you could get heavy metal poisoning. Not that I know anything about the subject... but it doesn't sound too good.

Commented: Silver Birch Tree Problem (Bending over?) Hi Garry, I don't think you have anything to worry about. Sometimes the growth outstrips the strength of the trunk, but things will even out. Mine did the same but are now looking just fine. Woori
