HI ANNIE I HAVE QUEEN OF THE NIGHT CACTUS ,I HAVE HAD IT FOR ABOUT 20 YEARS, THE FLOWERS ARE SIMILAR TO THE ONE YOU POSTED BUT MY FLOWERS ARE ALMOST DOUBLE THAT SIZE, ABOUT THE SIZE OF A SMALL DINNER PLATE, THE FLOWER COLOUR IS HARD TO DESCRIBE,IT STARTS TO COME OUT SLIGHTLY LEMONY AND THE PERFUME IS MAGNIFICENT, I HAVE IT IN ONE OF MY BOOKS SOMWHERE SO WILL TRY AND FIND IT AND LET YOU KNOW BOTANICAL NAME,MINE ONLY FLOWERS ONCE A YEAR ABOUT NOW ACTUALLY AND HAS JUST FINISHED, HOPE THIS HELPS

Yes, I didn't think it was what I knew as Queen of the Night.
The flowers didn't look right size and the length of the cactus itself didn't look right either.

'Looks like Epiphyllum hookeri but..............
Foliage reddish. Plant under stress? Usually green.
Flowering in the day time - early morning??? This is a 12 hour flowering plant (usually at night and strongly perfumed.) at night.
Flower shape, structure and stem length is right. Stem (Phylloclads) look right.
Epi hookeri have cuttings growing. Want one? When it produces fruit (self sterile) they mature in 2.5 months - to 3 months. to about the size of a standard chicken's egg. Contents are Very tasty - like sorbet. White with white strands through it. The seed are like little bean seeds. This is a real treat to taste.'
