Nell those are lovely. we didn't get near as cold last night as they said we would. I was up at 3 AM and it was 40. So I am hopeful. I have lots of bud on the roses and many are opening. The clems are doing fabulous...I think we just need to hold on one more night :) c

Nice! I like the butterflies. I actually replied to this and typed out another tutorial but Gardenweb ate it!! Grrrr! So I meant to come back and type it again but I haven't had time. It was on background removal which is fun. I will get around to it later. :0)

Thanks for the reassurance and yes, I think everything is planned around the kitchen...our house is very open so that where my starting off point has been. The reason for the turquoise/green border(which I forgot to mention) is because the cabinet people are building me a 8ft. x 8ft. hutch that is going on the dining wall that I'm planning on painting that color. tinycastles: yes the kitchen cabinets are alder with a walnutty stain. The frig is by Jenn-Air and ran 2219.00 with another 384.00 for the cabinet makers to make and install the matching panels. It's the best looking, most affordable counter depth that I found.
