Grown Up Collages
I've always been a fan of found art-style collages - anything Dada or by Nick Bantock has my approval. It's no surprise, then, that I love the look of a collage on the walls. I find busy walls inspiring and fun in the best way possible.
That's not to say, though, that I want my house to look like a kindergarten classroom. There's a fine line between creative and crazy.
A few weeks ago, when I looked through the Houzz photos that had been added to the most ideabooks, I discovered that I'm not alone in my love for wall galleries and collages - not at all! So here are some of my favorite inspiring wall collages:

Nina van de Goor has such a fantastic place - I'm constantly checking out her photos. I love the dishes here, but I also love the wall papered with different patterns. So fun!
This mix of visuals is fantastic, and I like that it's kept just a little bit orderly through the sharp edges.
An office is an ideal place for a wall collage, of course - where else would you rather be inspired?
This dining room inspired the whole ideabook, actually. I love the black backdrop and the way the mix of art is displayed in an organized way.
This is one of the most popular photos on Houzz - and rightly so. It's a little more "gallery" than "collage" but I love it for that one yellow frame.
Collages certainly don't have to be just prints. I love this hallway for the mix of chunky letters, wallpaper, and posters.
I bet I'd do tons of great work at this desk, beneath the globes and staring at that organic collage on the wall.
These patterns on unframed canvases are a neat way to create a collage look that doesn't feel messy at all.
If you love collages, but don't love disorganization, these silhouette bulletin boards are a cool way to contain the creativity.
