Could someone help me please. I do have this lovely tree growing in my garden. The problem is that I do not know much about it-its name is unkonwn to me. It came with a house.

Currently it grows between two other mature oak trees and seems to be a bit squashed and uncomfortable. I would like to keep it but would it manage to survive? How to look after it? How big would it be?

The second tree, grows only 1m away from our septic tank. It has orange leaves during the autumn time and funny redish catkins (almost fruitlike )during winter time.

My husband wishes to remove this tree-says it it too close to the septic tank. However I am not totally convinced. I like trees and would like to save this one too. It is quite big now- approx 3m high.CAn I transplant it during winter?
