Sorry if I have bored with the orchid cactus stuff, but wow, they really "popped" tonight.

This one does have a slight perfume, soft and spicy.

they looked so gorgeous I dragged my poor Mum all the way out to see, but she was pleased.

Pity about the gas bottles, but there you go.

Nothing like a white flower to brighten up the night Alison.
Goes well with the gas bottles, what happens when they get refilled.
Does the plant get broken or what????. A lovely flower worth going outside for.

Shindeashish, Although the question is directed at Easwar, I thought I will answer it (because the thread is 9 years old- LOL). The care of the plant depends on where you live in the US. I live in the Northeast where the winters are brutal. So when the temperature dips to about 40degrees, I trim off all the foliage and new growth from this year. If there are any stems that are thicker than a lead pencil, I save them as cuttings to make new plants. I clean off the container any leaves, weeds etc. Then bring it indoors into the heated part of the house. I keep it in my basement (heated Portion) by a window where the plant receives some sunlight during daytime. The plant slowly goes into a dormant stage and I water it lightly every other week - until spring arrives next year!

I just got my album (it is a CM passport tapestry album) and no I didn't so much get it because of anything but the fact I know I can get more pages for it when I get home. I haven't started yet but I have wednesday off so I think I will get right into it all day. I will be scraping my pictures of my year in the USA so far. starting with me arrival. The colour of the gas bottle actually sets it off really well.

Tricia, provided they are protected from frosts I can see no reason at all why you couldn't. I had them growing quite successfully in central NSW where the mid-Winter temps constantly dropped to minus 6 degrees for quite some time.
