Sharifa Asma is first to bloom here in Australia. The date is Sunday 19th October.
2nd year with me, the scent is outstanding, and the bush looks a lot more healthy, full and disciplined than last year.
This photo was taken today on a cloudy day. Yesterday, was hot and humid.
What you see in this photo is exactly what it looks like in real life. Eventually this darker pink colour will fade to a lighter pink and white as it ages.
I'm glad I didn't gave up on this rose. Unfortuntely, I have to spray to keep my roses looking healthy.
Most of my other roses are heavily infected with powdery mildew - I had to spray weekly. Plus, thrips are showing up too.
