Invasive Vines? Bower of Beauty & Native Sarsaparilla

Hi all,

I'm a newbie gardener in Melbourne and looking for some advice on vines/creepers.

I have seeds for:

* Bower of Beauty AKA Pink Trumpet Vine (Pandorea jasminoides)
* Native Sarsaparilla (Hardenbergia violacea).

Are either of these likely to become invasive in the garden, i.e. smothering other shrubs/trees or damaging wooden fences?

I live in a rental property and, while I hope to be here for a long time, I would hate to cause potential problems for the owner and/or neighbours.

There is already - what I believe to be - a Primrose Jasmine (Jasminum mesnyi) growing by one of the fences which has caused major damage to the fence and ascended into nearby trees. It's a large bush about 10 feet high and its canes take root when they touch the ground, forming new plants - looks like it will be a lot of work to control. I definitely don't want to cause another jasmine situation!

Any other suggestions for an evergreen creeper that won't cause damage to fences and has a nice flower would be great!

Front fence is brick and gets sun, other fences are wooden and in mostly light/dappled shade.

Thank you!
