Strange that Annie a albino I do hope you can post a pic of the flower now that would be different.
You know I just cannot imagine it not being red and I am stumped for a name here.

I have only grown two different types of Clerodendrums but with 400 varieties maybe there is a pure white.
But I have never seen it if there is, gosh you may be famous how wonderful...Cheers..MM.

clerodendron thompsoniae - I checked mine out and notice that not every bud produces a red flower at the same time so you get maybe 3 red flowers and the rest just the white bracts. Maybe the flowers are still to appear.

But the vine it came from, was the more usual white and red.
So I gather the pure white must be the one of the original plants?
and it can revert when you grow a cutting?

Maybe your soil needs some iron chelates?

Plant a lambs fry or calf's liver beneath it.:)

Well, I got some piccies but they are not too good. I think my camera may have been dropped once too often. It's not the photographer's.....oh, no, of course not!!

When I got really close, I did notice some of them had a soft pink bubble (?) in the middle.

Have a look at the link below seem they come in a cream as well as a red flower.

Well, I rather like the look of it 'cos the leaves are a lovely dark green, the white flowers look really nice against it.

Have you seen the Clerodendron Nutants I is a great plant. Upright with hanging bunches of flowers.
