Is it a Hoya, having only grown one of them about 20 years ago .
If not, could you please tell me what it is, very impressive anyway.

It's Hoya macgillivrayi or something similar yes the flowers are huge, mine hasn't re-flowered in about 5 years but they are a treat. Well done, Annie and keep us updated.
I have a tiny tiny little white flowered hoya out now that has the sweetest but strong perfume, such a pity they all lost their labels over the years.

Alison, your litle white one with the perfume could be Hoya lacunosa, one of my favourites.

I've been watching it for about a week.
I just hope these storms we've been getting won't hurt it.

Alison, H. lacunosa is a very fragrant miniature about 5mm across the somewhat round shaped flower. H. Serpens is another very fragrant miniature with a star shaped flower about 13mm across.
