Here are some close ups of some of my favourites.

This pic of Paul Cezanne really shows the pink shades that were not there last year.As the nursery said just wait a year...she was right.

A great show Michelle, I love them all. But I must admit to being a DA fan.
And I adore PA I nearly bought it but settled on Brass Band instead.
I will have to be content with looking at yours. Fiona's Wish still looking good.
Your PC is another very pretty one as you say worth waiting for.
Terrific bunch in the vase too...Cheers..MM.

-beegood, is the variegated one 'Dappled Dawn' aka 'Aucubaefolia'? Funny, but I came over here just to see if I could find any info on variegated lilacs! I may be interested in it for a back spot in my garden. Do you mind if I ask a few questions about it? I've looked around online but can only find a few answers... Does the variegation hold on all the growing season, or does it 'green out' later on? Would part sun be good, or does it need to be full sun to bring out the bold streaks? Does it sucker much and are the suckers variegated too? Thanks SO much for the beautiful pic too! CMK

Hi, Xuan, Donna, Yes it is the same bed that was planted on 5th February this year. This year I mulched them with a layer of rice husk. The black spots are soil showing through mulch, effect of hail storm. A few more from this morning, Orange Red Double The peach Pinkish I love Whites Orange Delight Charismatic So long for today. I have to make revision: from roses pictured above I currently grow only Excelsa, Paul's Himalayan Musk, Tuscany Superb and Crown Princess Margareta. The others had to leave because of problems with blackspot in my no spray garden. Jana

Can I use different white paints in my kitchen?

You can totally use a different white on the walls. I always prefer my cabinetry and millwork to look whiter than the walls. Just keep it in the same hue but more value. If it's a true white that allows you the flexibility to go towards any hue so take the cue from your countertops and flooring.

JWB thanks Its nice to present them as best you can I think.
MM...thankyou PA is going beserk this year and the colour is so rich.I think I planted it in a good spot.
Are you happy with Brass Band?
I would imagine they would be similiar.
The only thing is that DAs dont last long in the vase.Im lucky to get 3 days out of them in the vase.That even when the blooms are being supported by the neck of the vase:))

Yes I am very happy with brass brand Michelle no it is nothing like PA have a look below.
The only DA I have is Mary Rose she does marvelous here also, and lasts quite a few days in the vase.

Your vases, just beautiful :)
I can't wait for the roses, a few older varieties are coming out, but most are ready to burst with a bit of sunshine.

MM I think Brass Band is just as lovley as PA.It certainly has the colour and its a little different in the shape of the flower but I still think its a lovely rose.

steveTL Reconciliation is a fabulous rose.Most interesting colours dont you think?This is one of my favourites.The photo is bit glary and doesnt reflect the true mix of colours.I love the salmon colour in it.
