Thanks Lozza - consider one sold - I didn't have a clue whether I would be able to find a suitable rose for those positions or not. I would love to try one at least.

Need some more suggestions though. I want to mass plant something along a fenceline - will PT give good coverage without being too rampant and heavy - how much support would it need and how close should I plant to get the coverage? Would I be better off planting it on the embankment with some other ramblers.

I understand P T has wiry, vigorous growth. Is it thorny though because I am not up for pruning thorny canes. I have rejected the idea of bougainvilleas for the same reason.

Appreciate the help. My order for PT and some others will be in next month I hope.
