I would not be too concerned about the tachycardia (rapid heart beat) which is probably all associated with your daughter's condition and being pregnant. Hopefully the amniotic fluid has increased with their treatment. If not and your wee grandchild needs to be induced, then that will be a great thing, not too premature. Tammy I wish your daughter all the very, very best - I am sure it will work out for you all and that you have a wonderful Christmas. I think too when the baby is born, your other daughter will be delighted for her sister and hopefully will look forward to an uncomplicated pregnancy and birth in the near future. She will be well monitored and of course the baby will be, especially because of previous history. Hopefully, your daughter realizing this will give her the strenght and encouragement to try again. Municiple plantings of mass HTs never look very good to my mind. I wouldn't be racing to go and see it, having been utterly underwhelmed by similar displays (Queen Mary's in Regents Park, Stanley Park's gazillion Austin plantings, our local cemetery's dull rows of clumpy, ugly bushes). But hey, horses for courses, just not mine. Piper Alpha was a gas rig which blew up killing a number of workers.

Hi All- I bought my DoA from Bluestone's sale last summer. I planted in a 1 gallon container so she was keep moist at all times. My DH did all the pinching; something I haven't got the hang of yet. Don't really understand where you should pinch. She was planted last fall 2007. When we removed her from the container she had an amazing rootball. We planted her deep w/some bonemeal in the bottom of the hole. The pictures are of her very first blooms ever! I am so proud of her and I think she is a very pretty clematis. Now I need to find a vitacella to grow together w/my Henryi that is about 8 years old. He had wilt the first 3 years and this year he has just started blooming. I was thinking of VV but would love a nice blue like Ramona. How would Betty Corning look w/Henryi? I hear she is a great clematis and I love the bell-shaped flowers. I want something with color to really stand out w/Henryi. I guess I am not really sure what I want but would love some suggestions. suebot in CT
