Wow Peggy, I am astounded! As a kid, my parent's idea of a family vacation was traveling to civil war battle fields so I spent a few years traveling around Maryland, the Shenandoah Valley and on down to NC, Tennessee and Georgia. Beautiful Country to say the least!!!! And Ruthie, I was also curious.....is all of that greenery typical of your area or because ya'all have had so much rain this year? (John, who thinks EVERYWHERE is greener than So Cal....well except Las Vegas and Phoenix) ;).....sorry, just had to say that....unless you've been back East where Peggy lives, you haven't seen greenery.....(unless you are from the Pacific Northwest)......there I go again, getting myself into trouble :D

Lupine (or Lupinus).

I absolutely love the environment you live in, it's like a huge campground, all year round! That is a whole lot of plants to look after. I like clematis vines to, I have 4, 5 if you count the blue one I gave my daughter. My snowball bush is exactly the same size, but not blooming yet. Is that a Betty Boop rose, the multi-colored one? I just got one of those last year. Thank you - Sandy

abbydales, I think you may be right. It gets harder everyday to get them all snapped, deadheaded, dabbed and fussed with. Betsy, I think this is a terrific way to find the different dls. When you see one you like, then you can re-search it and decide. Better than a catalog. Jean, I think SSS will really have a good next bloom. That first wasn't to bad but we all know they get better. Rick, I have had better pics of BPB but since this is the first of the season, it's ok but she gets better. I'll try to post another when she gives me one.. Ditto, Chris. Alexa, LTA is my fav of this bunch!! She is beautiful. Nancy, I'll have to look at SSS to see if she has an increase. Some of our trade didn't ....Ellie
