Actually why I am asking is that I ordered one from them 5 years ago. It took a while to fruit, and when it did, it turned out it was a white donut peach ripening in July, either Saturn or Galaxy. I sent them photos, and they sent me a new tree in September of 2009. That replacement has finally set fruit in 2012, and I SWEAR it is another donut peach!! Little round and flat things (plus it has moderate peach leaf curl) I am astonished they could do this TWICE (what is going on there??) but before I have another hissy fit, I would like to see photos of what my baby fruit should look like. As I told them before, as far as mistakes go, it could be worse, because the peaches are actually delicious, but I am collecting late-season peaches which is the primary reason I ordered it, and I had lost 3 years (now 5 years) of growing time by getting the wrong peach. Again, how do you send the same wrong peach not once, but TWICE???? Especially when they don't exactly have a large selection of peaches in their company? Carla in Sac

Thank you for appreciation :o) Kitty, they are quite different, so you can choose looking to each one peculiar qualities. 'The Reeve'is a small plant, with tiny leaves and stems, bearing big peony-like blooms. They smell "myrrh" like 'Constance Spry'. Good rebloom and heat proof, perfect for a pot. 'Radio Times' is a little bit "rough" both in growing habit and leaves, but flowers are perfect in shape even in the middle of the summer, and have a powerful fragrance, like Damask Rose and citrus peel. 'Princess Alexandra of Kent' is one of Austin's Roses a in the 'Abraham Darby' style: smooth, modern looking leaves, big globular flowers. I have to take time to evaluate it, as it's still young. Maybe its color is not the very best: it's bright and rich, but a little bit dull... we'll see. Very good fragrance, like A.Darby ;o) You see: they are different! But if I have to choose only one, I think I'd choose 'The Reeve'. ;o) Ciao, Maurizio

Soncna, thank you very much for sharing your beautiful roses with us. They are a true beauty. In my garden in autumn also some roses bloom. Even more beautiful than in summer because they do not burn. They remain without aging much longer and it is true that their colors are much more intense. More beautiful from my point of view. I cultivate a couple of copies of Rosa 'Munstead Wood'. I think it's an incredibly beautiful rose !! Although in my climate its characteristic very dark color does not appear until the autumn. I really like MW too its tender buds. What a beautiful color range ... The problem with this rose in my garden is powdery mildew. Every spring, when I have the buds formed, I'm excited and I hope it does not happen ... but yes, it happens !! Soon the dreaded white dust begins to appear on its petioles and tender buds. Every spring the same! As it is logical in summer it remits much the intensity of the disease and in autumn it disappears altogether. It is a wonderful rose garden. With capacity to reflow so much !!
