"Yellow Hot" - Hungarian Wax FataMorgana

Hi, Definitely Black Pearl. Mine do not like full sun, I have them in an area where they get a few hours of afternoon, even then an occasional wilty appearance. What a beautiful plant, you will get plenty of compliments. I have mine planted by a Devil's trumpet, "Crimson Swirl" the purple and green of each plant complement each other. Have not tried tasting the pepper yet.

My experience with Thai Chilis is the the Thai Hot. It doesn't match the size or growing style at all. My hots grew upright in bunches. The shape is fairly close but a bit fatter than my Thai Hots. Could possibly be another variety of Thai chili though. I am growing Thai Dragons this year in addition to the Thai Hots this year again. But I don't know if they are similar or not. Here is my Thai Hot from last year.

I had an idea to email the seed company. They promote themselves as preserving rare and heirloom varieties, so they might want to know if unintentional pollination is going on. Also they could tell me if the mystery plant looks like another variety they are growing. I'll report back if they respond.
