Hi Marlene ann, I think we have managed to squeeze in about 25 all together. Mind you they are very close so the black spot is spreading rapidly but they are growing well with the "food for roses" which they seem to like. Thank you for replying.

I don't worry about BS on my roses anymore up here its an on going thing.
It does not do anything to the beautiful blooms and that's the main thing.
I tried the milk and water spray for two years and found all it did was cost me money.
Also I don't use any chemicals on my plants as I have many frogs on them and bearded dragons on the ground
Now days I just pull off the leaves put them in plastic shopping bags and bin them.

So do I Misty. Black spot doesn't worry me, at the end of the season I'll just vacuum up mulch, leaves and everything and bin it, spray and start again. Hot Chocolate on the other post was a surprise to me too, I thought, like you, it would have been a browny colour and I was hesitant to put it in at first but squeezed it between two others, glad I did now as I haven't anything resembling that colour
