For native lovers: I think I've posted this picture before; in about 2004 I planted a West Australian banksia that every body said would/will never grow in the eastern states. I managed this for about 6 years and it grew to about 3 metres. Finally, last summer in all the humidy, it surrendered and died. No regrets, I did manage some gorgeous blooms
