I came to the same conclusion and went looking for the proper name. So you beat me to it.

How are things down your way?

We had a week of extra, ordinary, warm weather, but now it's more normal a few degrees below -o C. at night.
The snow drops and crocus haven't been told, they are up too early...
All the best Inga

Japanese anemone ie Anemone x hybrida, possibly 'Honorine Jobert'. A very easy and tough perennial which blooms in late summer when there's not much coming into flower.

Front row Pink Impatiens. I can't see the blue ones in between clearly enough to id. Second row Blue Conoclinium coelestinum or Ageratum, Pink Antirrhinum and a Pink Rose. Against the fence Cleome and Antirrhinums. Beyond the fence assorted Astilbes and Echinacea. No Petunias as far as I can see. Call me an old cynic but you need to be aware that this picture has been manipulated to enhance the colours and the whole ensemble is a bit of a fantasy for the realistic gardener. What will it look like in a month's time? And what did it look like a month before?

There is a perennial ageratum, commonly called mist flower, scientific name Conoclinium coelestinum (no, I didn't remember that, and won't try to pronounce it ;-). It is native to southeastern U.S. and is reportedly winter hardy to zone 5.

Things are fine here Inga the weather is starting too cool down its 26.4°C at present at 9.30am
I have friends in the USA Kansas and their crocus popped their little heads up and then it snowed again.
Its been a strange year world wide, we are going to Wales UK in June for 10 weeks so hoping for warmer weather over there than usual.
