I haven't been posting because....

20 years ago

I keep getting this damned thing happening.

When I try to read posts this happens.

Trying to post myself is impossible-to get this far I have already had that message twice-once on the suggestion forum

and once here.

Normally when it has happened 2 or 3 times I have to close Mozilla and start again because ANY site I try to access gives the same message.

I am at the end of my patience and just plain angry!

I am sorry you are having so much trouble, I miss your posts and lovely pictures.

I don't know how to help though, just wish you good luck.
Have you looked into the computer help forum on the U.S. side, they are a help at times.

I am sorry to hear that Sandie I do enjoy your beautiful rose Pics.... I dont know a lot about computer problems but have you tried to get on through Internet Explorer.. Sometimes your Anti Virus causes problems.... I had to reclick Enable Java and Enable Java script as Photobucket would not let me put a pic on...Have you got on to the Help up the top....Have you defrag....Have you error checked...what about cleaning out your cookies...I dont know if these are any help but you never know.....And as Marion said put a post on the Computer Forum..... Cheer..MM.

Log in problems are normally related to your browser, especially if it is IE. And especially if you are using any of the Ad Block programs. They sometimes have to be disabled to log in and then you can turn them back on. Once logged in posting is no problem. Otherwise it is your or your provider's firewall. Dave

I guess since this is my first I was really anxious..mines been packed ready to go for two weeks.I can't wait for someone to get it.Not my usual style...I broke out of my routine on this one. I remember reading Foucault's Pendulum some years ago and absolutely loving it. The thing that really amused me about the whole production was that it went into incredible (and totally irrelavent) detail to finally make a very simple, and obvious point. (For the idiots that thought the "Da Vinci Code" was a great expose - Umberto Eco was there taking the mickey before that stupid book was even written.) Very funny book - in an odd way. But here at RP it was absolutely SLATED. Now it isn't. I'm glad about that. It is (deliberately) heavy-going, but worth it in the end. A book that makes a point - allbeit an unusual one.

Sometimes when this happens I click the refresh button up the top it helps sometimes, I get fedup with always having to logon with each new day,I click remember my password but it never does, things are just not the same anymore I feel.
