My garden to-day.

The first one is a Daylilly from a swap with MM,it is now doing well{{gwi:2111910}}
This next one was supposed to be Elina but I think it might be Julia's rose{{gwi:2111911}}
This one we all know Apricot Nector{{gwi:2111912}}
This is Fragrant Plum it has the most beautiful perfume, just great{{gwi:2111913}}
Lasly a new one Genevieve it is a climber{{gwi:2111914}}

Lovely photos. Your plants all look so healthy and lush. That one does look more like Julia's rose than Elina.

Hi Jan..All your roses look fantastic, your Apricot Nectar looks great,
And I agree with Dee the brown/pink looks like Julia's Rose to me isnt Elnia a cream or yellow.
The two pinks are very pretty too, It's a shame I cannot handle perfumed roses, they stay outside:
Nice to see one of my day lilies going well, thats the small yellow one. Did the Candy lily survive the cold.

yes, I am in my garden or the greenhouse every day after work. being as I winter sow my perennials I am out there potting something up or seeding something. Maybe I am organizing or cleaning. It is such a great way to physically, mentally relax for me. although, my 10 yr old is starting to resent it a little. so I have to be careful with her.. and to not be too selfish with my time and make sure I am taking time for her also. I think her little hormones are starting to kick in with the snottyness and My mom is the meanest thing on earth. boys are so easy! I already went thru this with my oldest two girls. anyway, I am heading out there in a few minutes, I found seeds in a bubble mailer I forgot to sow. I am potting up plants that have spread too much and am going to try to sell them when I have my garage/craft sale. I can never get enough time out there. I am going to say that God gave me the gift of a green thumb and I am going to use that gift to glorify Him.

If you are hard up to get things settled at your new home, go to a beverage distributor or a place that may sell soda or beer in the shallow cardboard boxes. They aren't very deep and won't hold up very well after watering but you can set them up as a temporary garden to hold some soil and your plants. This will allow your plants to have some air circulation and much needed sun. Lay them out near the area of your new flower gardens. It'll buy you a bit of time and you won't loose any plants to being stuck for too long in a plastic bag. (Plastic bags are definitely the way to go for transport!). I moved my gardens a few years back in the rain. It actually worked out quite well but was very messy. I dug up my clumps and put them in the truck without plastic bags! I'd never thought of using them. My plants moved very well. Best of luck! I feel your excitement!!

That is a wonderful essay. Thanks for posting, You don't have to be old to find this useful. These are all excellent ideas, many of which I've used - though I'm not quite at the point of hiring people to clean my beds. But then I have some teenagers.

Hi Hollakes I tried to email you but Garden Web said it couldn't find you anyway I use Microsoft Digital Image 9 but any photo imaging program should do it for you

Isn't it good when someone gives you something and it not only survives but multiplies. We have a lot of gifts like that and we always call them by the name of the person who gave them to us.
