Here in the U.S. we are not allowed to ship them out, it is illegal. Permits are expensive, but may be obtainable. I know that they are selling for about $100 ea. in Europe. They come in all colors except blue and a true brown. Just be careful what you decide to do. Check with Harry Mays of England, I think he was the Representative of the ISI plants to be sold to Europe. See if you can find any in Europe. If you obtain them, make sure that they have come of a Schick hybrid plant and not from seed. Bob Schick hand pollinated, and wrote down the parentage for the past 50 years, and it is recorded. Unless it came directly from the Huntington Gardens it is not a true Schick hybrid. Off sets from the plant would be the best way, make sure that you see the label. Well, the plants actually do all the work--I'm already trying to figure out how to give some of them more light next year. It's such a fine line. The light definitely seems to effect the flowering, but a little too much and they don't like it and shut down. And I have a couple of little Trichocereus that I have had for years that absolutely will not bloom for me so next year they are going out with the big guys to see if that helps pop out some buds. It took me years before mine started blooming faithfully and it looks like you are well on your way in a much shorter time. Those Huntington pups are so small that they can take a while, I did have a few exceptions that bloomed when they were very tiny. We can wait until spring, I'll make a note and keep a close eye on the parents through winter. I think the 'Sleeping Beauty' pup is not in the dirt and it only has aerial roots so waiting until spring may not make a difference. I usually like to leave them with the parent so they get bigger. It is tricky--they have to be a certain size, although I've gotten small pups from Huntington with buds on them. They have their methods down to a perfect science down, I believe. I moved several of the mid-sized pots to get more sun in late summer and it made an amazing amount of difference in plants that haven't bloomed before. But no afternoon sun. I don't know if I ever mentioned it, but I also use a very small amount of Ammonium Sulfate. Some people on the Forum dispute its use and the "Cactus Freak" (Greg, he's the one that does a lot of the time lapse bloom videos) told me that he didn't see too much difference when he used it. I do--maybe because Elton is more familiar with western US growing conditions. Greg lives in Florida so of course his conditions are much different. I don't check my pH every time I water, but I use the aquarium strips when I do. Easier than using a kit. I only use the AS during growing season and not every week. A few of the plants can't take this and they split so I have to be careful and tag the pot. Sorry for being so long winded. You have all winter to do your research so good luck.
