I did not plant baby blue eyes or five spot. However .... I did have several packets of mixed flowers, and I think there may have been some herbs and greens mixed in too. The print was too small for me to read. I know that I have lots of Henbit, Stinging Nettle and Chickweed growing wild all over my garden. Also have Radishes and Mustard Greens and Tomatoes coming up as volunteers every year, along with hundreds of volunteer California Poppies and Calendulas .....

Those early leaves should not be considered, the compound leaves are the true ones. Looks like a Cassia (Senna).

I think it's pretty and harvest it for herbal purposes. I have it in my lawn. Not overly much, a few patches here and there. With a 140 years of my lawn being a lawn, the self heal hasn't spread very much. I don't think it will overrun your gardens. You can always pull or clip away what you don't want since it isn't as vigorous and unkillable as peppermint or ground ivy. FataMorgana Here is a link that might be useful: Google images - Self heal

Might also be root sprouts from a tree nearby that's existing or was cut down. Trenching can cause suckering to appear to be a row of plants.
