i would love to trade with you, but i do not have any of the liberty's. i have dark marie, some thor and some dancer series. let me know :)

Good morning Linda, how are you? I didn't see the one on ebay, I could possible be blind or that the sale ended. I still think that they are extremely over priced regardless of rarity, after all one can root a whole house hold over a course of time. I think it's kinda of greedy, but I guess one does what one sees fit. Just like the Thanksgiving Cactus Aspin (which is gorgeous by the way) but mainly ebayers want like 30-50 just for cuttings..or they start the bids really low and people rise them up. Again, I'm not complaining because to each is own..but I know that I would happily share if I had these varieties =) I just don't think that you can put a price on nature in general..though people try.

MIM, I think that the current name of this plant is a Disocactus, as Amcour helpfully pointed out - any self-respecting jungle cactus has at least two aliases and four formal names.

Well, mine turned out not to have a large taproot But I'm glad I repotted it. The mix it was in had a lot of small particles which had settled in the bottom half of the pot where there were no roots at all. I didn't have an azalea pot the right size so I repotted it in a pot that was a bit wider at the top (will make it easier to water) and about the same height, but it narrows at the bottom, so has less volume at the bottom. Hopefully it will be o.k.
