Hi Dusty, In addition to the other book I posted here, I also have Rock Gardens & Alpine Plants by David Joyce, 1985. It only cost $6.95 but it is a good book nonetheless. It takes you from the construction of a rock garden, to selection of plants, propagation of plants, to how to deal with pests and upkeep of the garden (winterizing, etc.) The reason I bought the book though was because of all the lovely pictures (many) of plants I can never hope to grow in Zone9. Even so, I have a few hens and chicks melting in my back yard at this moment. We not only have extreme heat but we also have extreme humidity! Incidently, I would like to thank you for posting the info about blocked email addresses on your member page. I have been trying to figure out what to do about it and have been searching all over info at the My Yahoo mail site. Now I know I need to change some options on my member page at Gardenweb. THANKS! The last thing I read was The Modern Home Book. Very useful book, as I learned a lot about interior design, as well as home improvement, such as how to choose the right colors, or write about what types of designs there are and how they could be seamlessly combined into one style. All in all, I didn't regret downloading it from the torrent and reading it. If you still think that downloading for free is bad, then I advise you to find more info about The Pirate Bay, where you can see the reliability and benefits of these sites.

holly-kay, I also bought a Charles Faudree book! I think it's his last one, but there are others written as a tribute to him. Since I used my 'promo' on the one above, I bought Charles Faudree Home in a 'used, like new' condition, which I am happy to buy for myself. I just checked and the seller RentU has books that are Prime eligible, so I bought from them, and it'll be the two day shipping. Mine was only $16.13, although I see they have one now for $23.08. I've been ordering a lot from Amazon, as I love that fast Prime membership shipping. My UPS man must think I own stock in them.
