Adenium seeds have high germination rate but lose viability after a couple of months. I have Jatropha plants. Will collect seeds fresh (just like adenium and curry-leaf seeds) for you if you like. Postage free.

Tell us where you are located, Marylyn and add it to your profile name such as zone and country. Then we can better assist you. For example, if you are in the USA, places like Lowes and Home Depot stock various common pink adeniums grown by Costa Farms out of Florida. They are a good choice if you want fairly cheap but larger root stocks without having to pay shipping. You can pick them out in person so you can get the caudex you like best with plants in the 18 inch tall range. This late in summer they may be getting scarce and hard to find but a month ago were plentiful. For seed there are many choices. All you need to do is Google. But that really depends on /what/ kind of seed you are looking for. Obesums for flowering, or arabicums, Thai Socco, DHA, miniatures, etc. There is a small but growing source for adenium seeds in the USA and Australia but most of them are still imported out of Thailand or Taiwan. If you want obesum seed Ebay is one choice especially if you want cheap seeds by the 100 pack for germinating both blooming plants and root stocks. For example, I get cheap 'root stock' seed from Thai Perfect Gems though they aren't the best seller I'd recommend if you wanted good quality. I do get an excellent germination rate on their seed. For higher quality seed check out Mr. Ko (also on Ebay) and message him for his seed price list and he'll send it to you via email. Orient Adenium (Rinoa) also has good seed and if you Google that link will come right up. Adenium King has good seed though a little more expensive. Adenium Center sells seed but is probably the most expensive. For various arabicum or Thai Socco there are more obscure sources - many of which are only available through Facebook. Ram Adenium, Dino, and several others depending on precisely what kinds you are looking for. But there are also websites and Ebay auctions. King Adenium has reasonable prices on their arabicums and Thai socco for example. If you want variegated adenium of any kind I don't suggest you bother ordering seed. It doesn't seem to throw variegated and may be leaf chimeric. Best to order grafted plants in that case. Good luck!

Mr.KO adenium seeds review. I ordered 32 different kind of Adenium seeds from Mr.KO. The seeds arrived a month after, it is OK. Most of the seeds were very small, some of the has only husk. Soaked them right away on 28 C. After few ours rinsed them and put them on moist (not wet) non treated paper towel on 30 C. To cut a long story short, after 14 days the results was devastating! Only 38 seeds of 480 germinated! Note: I saw, raise and form Adeniums for over 14 years, right now I have over 2000 from age 1 to 14 years old, on special setups for overwintering. So can say I have some experience. Wrote a mail to MrKO about the results, with pics and a precise number of germinated seeds by species. After 10 days, no answer, no any sign of respecting their own policy about low germination resending. As far as I concern, I am very unsatisfied with Ko Adenium, and their way of doing business. I do NOT recommend their seeds and trading with them at all! On the pics you can see part of my plants (overwintering at the moment), the setup for germination, and the "high quality seeds" of Mr.KO.
