Tagetes lemonii
My girlfriend was given a beautiful specimen of this hardy and very worthwhile plant recently, it transplanted without flinching and hasn't stopped flowering since! The golden yellow flowers shine like beacons in the garden. Brushing against the plant releases a very intense and quite unique essential oil. To me it smells more like lemon lollies than any of the other lemon scented herbs, or lemon itself. Does anyone use it for cooking or anything else?
