Dena--First, I am so sorry for the loss of your brother-in-law, and for the struggles you and your family are going through right now with your father-in-law. God bless him, this must be really hard on him, too. It sounds like you are trying your best to be a support for your MIL, which is so good of you to do. God be with all of you through this tough time!! Ask for, or try to find yourself (at a medical supply, perhaps?) a self-sticking, rubbery tape that sticks to itself but not to your skin. Lots of people have an allergy or sensitivity to adhesive, so when you are at the doctor, mention this and ask for something else! I personally do have problems with bandaids and tape, even paper tape. I've used a purple rubbery tape, which I've been told one brand name is 'Coban' that really helped and did not irritate me. Oh there is tons of food for them. They climb right up to the feeders and I have a squirrel feeder they go into. Last year I had six. I don't think the babies have showed up yet.I think an Armadillo would be a nice treat or even a racoon. Haven't got either and I know most people do not like racoons. When the Saskatoons are ripe these little guys climb all over the bushes to get them

Okay, people, you also don't want the minerals in the water in your head, either! Use water that's distilled or treated by reverse osmosis (labeled "purified" when you buy it at the store). Water boiled for 20 minutes is okay if you can't get distilled/r.o. but pure is better. You can use kitchen salt, but the little packets that are meant for the job are gentler if you have sores from an infection or nosebleed. Plain water, rather than saline (with the salt in it) can hurt more than it helps because it'll dry out your nasal tissues.

Jo and maddielee were thinking along the same lines I was thinking. Swell makes a great water bottle and I love my Yeti coffee mug. Both come in fun patterns or colors. If she doesn’t have one, Vera Bradley makes nice quilted tote bags that hold stuff one takes to work, with pockets for a coffee mug or water bottle, and they are washable. If she doesn’t use the traditional briefcase or backpack this could be useful.
