I have approx 10 of EACH seeds: Organic German Green Tomato, Very tiny, sweet, pale Yellow White Currant Tomatos, and Organic Sugar Snap Peas that are fantastic.

Well I guess an easier single question. So pretend the current is going to have 3 leaders coming out of the ground that i will train... If you were to stake each of them to bamboo stakes (the 6ft ones you can get from Lowes), why would you need wire connecting all the bamboo stakes as some pics Ive seen showed. The 3 leaders are just going up the bamboo and being tie to that, and nothing is being trellised on the wire itself, so can i just have 3 bamboo stakes and thats it? I debating having 2 larger wooden stakes at the ends, and wiring the bamboo to that via horizontal wires in case the currant plant itself gets heavy and the bamboo needs a little help standing up via those cross-wires. Any good ideas?

Yes I'm still looking. Are they ripe or well past yet? I had recently just left on a trip to go collect some Great Plains yellow forms, or any that seemed exceptional. Unfortunately I only got two miles out of town and hit a deer. Bad for the deer and bad for my planned trip too. Does anyone see yellow fruited forms and do they seem different or better tasting? I'd love to obtain seeds from any types that seem really good. I think my mail is working now. U of Sask had some breeding program and cultivars out before I think. I hesitated to list the one place I've seen currants in Ontario. Not because of any problems I've had with the place, in fact I was greatly satisfied with my purchases there, but because I have not bought any edibles there. Even so, here is the information. Green Valley Garden Centre 519-326-2341 Ruthven, ON I saw red currants, hardy kiwi (which I would have gotten, but customs would have been a problem) and figs there. ~Chills
