Film Anyone?

Is anyone here shooting film, specifically transparency? I would like to get an unbiased opinion regarding the pros and cons versus digital. Thanks for any insight.

I use film, as to go fully digital would be too expensive,(I do have a small digi and a 1MP camera phone) but if I could get the quality of 35mm at the same price things would be different.
I use *free* film from Jessops for colour and I buy XP-2 chromogenic for b/w.

I swore I would *never* get a digital camera. That was about five years ago. I've just ordered my third digital camera, and my 35mm SLRs are collecting dust. Never say never...

I think so much depends on what you want from a camera, and what you intend to do with the results.

Cattle panels make a good little greenhouse about 8 feet wide. I made one and used it for one year and then went much larger. The metal never rubbed a hole in the plastic. Just bend them with the vertical pieces on the inside. Run your hand over the horizontal pieces and if you find a rough spot, grind it or file it down or wrap it with tape. The ends are the problem, there is a very easy and cheap fix. The wires stick out about 1/2 inch. So I took black pipe insulation as small as you can find and put it on the ends. Then wrap a few pieces of tape every few feet. This covers the ends and protects the plastic. You could use plastic pipe or even garden hose, but you will have to split those. The pipe insulation is foam and is already split. Here is a picture of the building that I built three years ago.

Hi Susan, It looks very much like Harry Gray, all white fuchsias are inclined to go more pinkish if they have sun on them, try to keep it in the shade. Morning sun is not so much of a problem, but don't let it hang in strong direct pm sun. Keep it moist but not soaking wet, water preferably in the mornings. Feed with a balanced feed NPK 20-20-20 throughout the growing season. Kath:)

Filming a documentary on people dealing with varmint in Northeast US

Is the documentary already released? It is an interesting topic for a documentary, and I would like to film a similar one about people dealing with Varmints in the South of the United States. I already have some experience filming documentaries, and I got a good filmmaker education at www.praguefilminstitute.cz. It is an interesting and important topic, so I think more people should know about other people's experiences. It is why I am planning to film a documentary movie about it and be more informed.

Its pretty much original, could do with a levels tweak maybe.
